I develop solutions for e-learning and social learning that are based on understanding how people learn and how people interact with technology. I support others who teach with technology. I’m a writing skills tutor, an editor and a communications course author and work at Write to the Point as an eLearning Strategist and Consultant. My main work focus at the moment is working as a consultant at the  Centre for Educational Technology, University of Cape Town where projects have included looking at ways in which digital literacies can be embedded in teaching and learning, learning design and developing strategies for online courses.

I have a BA (Hons) History from Oxford University. I’m currently studying for a Master’s in Online and Distance Education at The Open University, UK. I’m lucky enough to live in Cape Town, South Africa.

  1. Hi Sukiana, I’ve been running through my links to make sure that I still have all the contacts when eventually I come off the OU Platform. I’ve now completed the MAODE but want H809 so that I can at least consider doctoral research. Glad you’ve made it over to WordPress which I swear by. I’ll be doing more with the blog later in the year. And I could well be in Cape Town with the family at the end of the year staying with my brother.
